I first got this picture back in Hawaii and it was of someone having a personal breakthrough. They didn’t need to worry about the whole wall, but just focused on punching through what was directly in front of them. Then by doing that it was causing cracks and impact in the bigger picture. Recently while praying for a friend the word/pic  came back in a new and powerful way. 

God is in the midst of accomplishing unique, tailor-made works with many of us. We are being called to build something with the Lord that is completely out of our comfort zone or maybe even our skill set!! In this collaborative process with the Lord we inevitably run up against issues and challenges needing breakthroughs along the way. 

YOU will breakthrough being YOU:

David and Saul, armor to take down giant:

38 Then Saul clothed David with his armor; he put a bronze helmet on his head and clothed him with a coat of mail.39 And David girded his sword over his armor. Then he tried to go, but could not, for he was not used to it. And David said to Saul, I cannot go with these, for I am not used to them. And David took them off.40 Then he took his staff in his hand and chose five smooth stones out of the brook and put them in his shepherd’s bag, and his sling was in his hand, and he drew near the Philistine. Holy Spirit highlighted David’s purity and honesty, he wasn’t trying to please Saul and wear the armor, he was too filled with holy conviction to do what God had called him to do

David’s short but focused life as a shepherd was actually preparation for this historic moment, past experience is never discounted in God, He builds on it…

Some of you may feel like you’re going back to the drawing board, but it’s not true, this new thing you’re doing with God is being built on and you cannot do it as someone else, God wants to glorify Himself with how He made you!

Be ready to be formed and fashioned in a new way as you work with Him!

Humble, pliable: Habakkuk 3:19: 19 The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]! 

Your breakthrough is Tailor-made!

 2) made or fitted especially to a particular use or purpose

Because of what Jesus did on the cross, nothing is impossible!! That Resurrection Power that caused Him to walk out of the tomb is living inside of us! We can move right through every challenge, every issue of being stuck, every glitch in our process!

Philippians 4:13-19 AMPC

“I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].”

God wants to do it through us and have all the glory! Your instructions, methods, strategies will come from your secret place with Him!

It’s easy to start freaking out (especially when you run up against a challenge) and start relying on man to help you or look to some sort of tradition or template of the past (not that He won’t use anointed people or plans) but there’s something so special about this time of creating with God. He’s jealous to be doing this with you. There’s a holiness, fear of the Lord in this process like never before. 

He wants us to trust Him and not fear, truly create with Him by faith just like Noah did, to the detail.

This has been a life-long message for me and I haven’t always done it well, but praise God for His Perfect Character!

Let’s answer His call each day to follow and build with Him to the detail through His Son Jesus the “Ultimate Breakthrough.”
